Pilates Is A Practice
Your regular Pilates practice is part of the rhythm of everyday life. It’s how you keep showing up for yourself — building resilience, rehabilitating after injury, staying curious about your body, and creating space for you within an otherwise busy life.
Sometimes practice means consistency at home…and sometimes it means changing the scenery. I’m bringing you both.
I know deep in my bones that sometimes we need to break our usual rhythm to reconnect with why we’re doing any of it in the first place. That’s why I built Practice Pilates Away — the bridge between Practice Pilates classes here at home in Heber Valley and Park City, and the retreats away from regular routines and responsibilities.
Founder & Certified Pilates Instructor
Meet Erin Miller
My own Pilates practice began with an invitation from my grandmother! After years of injuries and feeling disconnected from my body, I discovered a way to build strength while developing a deeper awareness of movement, breath, and the connection between the two.
That experience eventually took me from student to teacher. I started training in 2017, completing a 500-hour Comprehensive Mat and Equipment Pilates Training in Denver and then earning my certification through the Pilates Method Alliance. I’ve taught full time since 2019 at studios in Colorado, Texas, and Utah, while also leading teams and mentoring other instructors.
Today, I teach challenging, thoughtful, and varied group classes and private sessions throughout Heber and Park City. I strive to bring curiosity, connection, joy, and even laughter (we shouldn’t take ourselves too seriously, amiright?) to my teaching — creating space for everyone to challenge themselves, ask questions, and become more aware of what their body needs.
My love of movement, travel, and building genuine community also inspired Practice Pilates Away retreats — a chance to take the same curiosity and joy from your everyday practice somewhere entirely new!
Outside the studio, you can find me exploring the outdoors, thrifting, or spending time with my partner and son.
